This module became helpful to me in understanding various aspect of research methods in education and training. I got familiar with various context of research and the nature of enquiry. This helped me to know the insight about the fundamentals of research process in education. I also learned various paradigm of research and ethical issues in research. Similarly planning a research, data collection techniques, sampling, data analysis, validation and reliability were some other part of the study. I followed a text book "Research Methods in Education (5th Edition)" by Louis Cohen in this module. The assignments like critical analysis helped in providing a through knowledge about several aspects of research process and application of research methods. The next assignment was planning a research proposal which help me in designing a research plan. Other assignments like data operationalising and various discussion related with research issue were also useful.
