User and task analysis for design and development of Electronic support system (ESS).

This project aims to analyze the user and task of IT (Interview Technology) Manager application as a foremost part of designing and developing multimedia support system tool. This will finally help to add effectiveness and usability of the product. Identifying actual users need, talking to them about what tasks they are trying to do, what difficulty do they have and understanding the entire context of their work are the major activities of this project. User centered design and development has the basic need to understand the entire context of their work. User and task analysis will open most of the ways to user centered design and development of such tools The final goal is to design and develop a usable, performance and user centred multimedia support tool. I will lead this project in cooperation of support team at DESAN Research Solutions, a market and opinion research organization in Amsterdam. As a producer of this application DESAN also has been providing help and support directly and indirectly to its users. Another aspect is that providing effective help and support can expose the potential and usability of this IT application on its own by coming to know the difficulties encountered by the users. So now DESAN wants to develop multimedia electronic support system for its user to remove the above mentioned difficulties. This project intends to support in the same design and development process. This is my initial concept for the project plan!
