This was a first module of this program. The aim of this module according to ELMAC were intended to frame the overall programme by critically examining the:
• elements and pedagogical principles of open learning and flexible environments/e-learning
• the relation between learning and technology in different learning environments
• the role of the technology in the construction of open learning and flexible/e-learning environments
• the roles of the tutor and students in the development of viable open and flexible learning communities
My diverse educational background and involvement in education had inspired me to join ELMAC. Therefore OFLE was interesting to me in a way that I got acquainted with several pedagogical principles and its relationship with technology enhanced learning and learning environments. This module indeed gave me a wider concept about educational technology, capability and trends. For me it was to see the electronic technology and educational software's usage for advancement in learning. It was a start up but an inspiring module.
